FM Engineering Operations Manager

About the role

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is actively hiring for Engineering positions. CBRE Global Workplace Solutions provides facilities engineering, maintenance, and other facilities services in support of an Administrative and Lab campus. The position will focus on the elevator, escalators and lifts. This position will collaborate with the elevator service provider.

Travel to other sites will be 5% or less.

What you'll do

  • The Facility Engineer will oversee the maintenance, repair, preventative maintenance and reliability of the elevators located at the Indianapolis facilities.
  • The Facility Engineer will lead the contract and relationship with the elevator service provider.
  • The Facility Engineer will be the elevator technical authority for the entire CBRE/Lilly account.
  • The Facility Engineer proactively manages the existing asset base, completes small projects for the customer, and represents the customer on large projects.
  • The Facility Engineer analyzes and implements proactive maintenance programs along with researching and implementing new technology for replacement of equipment and operations assets.
  • The Facility Engineer is responsible for drawing updates and change control documentation for systems under their responsibility.
  • Other responsibilities include supporting the identification and accomplishment of departmental goals and supporting the development and implementation of quality system processes.
  • The Facility Engineer communicates effectively and professionally in both written and verbal communications with internal customers, vendors, and contractors.
