CBC Northwest Territories (NWT) is seeking a full-time, permanent reporter-editor to join our Yellowknife newsroom. We're looking for a self-starter who's able to pitch, research and report stories that are topical and meaningful. You will be part of a small but dynamic team that covers the NWT and beyond for a diverse audience. You will work to deadline daily, gathering, writing, editing and packaging content for video, digital and audio platforms.
The successful candidate will be a strong writer with a background in journalism or a related field. This position also requires a strong team player who understands time management and pays attention to details. You may be asked to work a variety of shifts, including early starts and late finishes and weekends.
