As a reporter for Radio-Canada, you will cover regional news in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean on a daily basis. For your primary assignment with RDI, you will be required to travel into the field to gather information and to present your stories live. You may also be assigned to more local coverage for the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean newsroom.
You will need to demonstrate clarity and rigor in accordance with CBC/Radio-Canada's Journalistic Standards and Practices, as well as creativity and originality in developing ideas and approaches for producing content on digital platforms, radio, and television. In this role, you will report to the Editor-in-Chief of the Saguenay station. We are looking for someone curious, energetic, comfortable presenting journalistic content live, and committed to teamwork and maintaining a positive work environment. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and may vary depending on production needs.
