Radio-Canada is seeking two (2) journalists to join the Montreal newsroom team. These are permanent, full-time positions. As a reporter based in Montreal, you will file for all our platforms to cover news and current events with clarity, accuracy and depth. You will do live hits on ICI RDI, report for Le Téléjournal, radio newscasts and programs; as well as for our digital platforms. You will be required to go out into the field to gather information and present it in compliance with Journalistic Standards and Practices. You must demonstrate creativity and originality and produce content within tight deadlines.
Please note that the planned assignments are on an atypical schedule. By way of example, one of the positions will be assigned a Friday to Monday schedule. The other may be required to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on the needs. The work schedule for both positions is subject to change based on operational needs.
