Reporting to the Director of Human Resources French Services, you are part of the team which supports the leaders of Radio-Canada's News department.
As an HR Business Partner, you work collaboratively with the first-level managers to ensure the success of their employee strategies. You will also support the Director of Human Resources in handling operational matters with the executive teams. To do this, you develop operational human resources management plans, you take advantage of internal centers of expertise, and you provide ideas, tools and analysis to proactively address key business and employee challenges.
You will be the first point of contact and support for Human Resources and Industrial Relations consulting while spearheading initiatives with an eye for aligning HR management practices with the specific needs and reality of the News department and the media world.
You must demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively and exercise influence, work in a unionized matrix environment, exercise judgment, discretion and make decisions effectively. You apply these skills in areas such as labor relations, organizational development and change management initiatives.
