Digital Editor (French Services)

As a digital editor, you will create content for Radio-Canada's digital platforms and tools. You will produce clips using publishing and editing software. You will work on both daily news and special projects, partnerships, and other productions of the station. You will be expected to develop your own story ideas as well as contribute to those of your colleagues. You will stay up to date with digital trends and developments.

We are looking for a candidate with the following profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience in digital and multiplatform media

Skills:

  • Strong writing skills and knowledge of grammar and syntax
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of digital tools and platforms, including: YouTube, Adobe Premiere
  • Ability to perform well under stress and pressure
  • Editorial skills to select relevant topics, adapt, synthesize, and enrich them
  • Skills in taking photos and basic video shooting
  • Ability to digitize, cut, and edit audio-video material
  • Solid understanding of digital media codes and practices
  • Good knowledge of current affairs in Mauricie and Centre-du-Québec

Selected candidates will be tested as follows:

  • Interview
