At CBC/Radio-Canada, we create content that informs, entertains and connects Canadians on multiple platforms. Our successes and accomplishments are driven by embodying and upholding values, which include creativity, integrity, inclusiveness and relevance. Do you think you have the ability and drive to keep up with this exciting, ever-changing industry? Whether it be in front of the camera, on air, online or behind the scenes, you would be joining a team that thrives on making connections and telling stories that are important to Canadians.
CBC Kids News is real kids, real news. We are committed to creating the best content, with the goal of providing Canadian kids with trusted, credible news that helps them better understand the conversations that are happening around them. At the heart of that is a dedicated team of adults who keep the engine running on a daily basis, while our team of kid contributors are in school.
You are the cornerstone of all of the content that gets produced out of the KN team. You are extremely organized, detail-oriented, efficient with your time, have a strong sense of story selection, proven leadership and mentorship to less-experienced members of a team. You are a champion of CBC's journalistic standards and practices and believe that quality is paramount, especially when it comes to creating content with and for kids. You have a natural desire and ability to seek out story ideas that appeal to kids (hint: you spend a healthy amount of your free time on YouTube and other socials.)
