Reporting to the Manager, Budgeting and Internal Reporting, serving Radio-Canada Current Affairs, you will perform accounting duties and conduct analysis to ensure that requests are processed in accordance with policies, standards, procedures, legislation, etc., to support management decision-making and budget planning.
Your focus will be on supporting managers and analysts in analyzing and validating departmental expenditures (expense accounts, vendor invoices or other expenses). You will be required to produce employee and freelancer contracts, as well as process and/or make payments for those contracts and perform related follow-ups. You will also track licensing rights for documentary-related acquisitions and external productions, and be responsible for preparing month-end entries for those rights.
