We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Transportation Analyst (Freight Forwarding & Brokerage Services) in Morton, IL.

Job Summary:

• The Transportation Analyst (Freight Forwarding & Brokerage Services) will procure transportation and freight forwarding services to enable the movement of commodities throughout a manufacturing or distribution network to ensure the smooth running of operations at optimal transportation cost levels.

Additional Info:

• This role is located in Morton IL and does not offer relocation
• This role is 1st shift
• This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules
• This role requires up to 5% domestic travel

What You Will Do:

• Procure transportation and freight forwarding services and ensure market competitiveness
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships (business review meetings)
• Negotiate master service agreements and scope of works with providers
• Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on contract and rate status.
• Generating and analyzing reports of spend, provider performance and market trends.
• Assisting in the development of process flows automation

• Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
• Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
• Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00
