Die Caterpillar Energy Solutions GmbH stands with its two brands MWM and CAT for highly efficient and environmentally friendly systems for decentralized energy generation. The Mannheim-based company was founded in 1871 by automotive pioneer Carl Benz. The products stand for more than 150 years of experience in the development and optimization of gas engines and power plants for natural gas, biogas, and other special gases. Since November 2011, our company has been part of the Caterpillar Group.
To strengthen our team at the Mannheim location, we are looking for a Territory Sales Manager (M/W/D) starting immediately:
Your Tasks:
- Acquisition of new customers for new BHKW systems as well as service and modernizations (retrofit) for existing systems
- Care, consultation, and support of existing customers, building long-term customer relationships
- Analysis of customer requirements and development of customized solutions, if necessary with the support of the required specialist departments and/or the necessary suppliers/subcontractors
- Configuration, calculation, creation, and follow-up of customer- and system-specific offers for new systems and service products
- Processing of tenders and creation of market observations and market analyses with appropriate reporting
- Preparation and conduct of contract negotiations and contract reviews with the involvement of the required specialist departments
- Verification of incoming orders and order handover to the appropriate specialist departments
- Compliance with environmental protection, health, and occupational safety regulations
- Participation in trade fairs and conferences
Your Qualifications:
- Completed university degree or completed vocational training with appropriate further education in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy economics, or comparable
- Several years of experience in the sales of complex technical products and/or services, ideally in the BHKW sector
- Contact ability, communication skills, and customer orientation
- Persuasiveness and negotiation skills
- Self-initiative and flexibility
- Willingness to travel and driver's license class B
- Good English skills in speech and writing (at least level B1)
Area of Deployment:
- Germany: Parts of NRW, Lower Saxony, and Hesse
