As a Senior Associate Engineer in the Engine Development team of LPSD Power Solutions & Controls Development- India, you entail:

• Lead complex projects and assignments for the end-to-end development of large diesel engines. This will involve recipe selection extensively using simulation, testing, and other engineering tools to enable program decisions.
• Project management planning and updates. Perform needs analysis and initiate ideas, create/evaluate new processes, and perform complex analysis work, identify and solve challenging problems.
• Work with global teams to understand & formulate program requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Master's in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Automobile engineering from accredited Indian or Global Engineering schools.
• 3+ yrs experience in engine performance, simulation, and controls development.
• Experience in using 1D diesel engine performance simulation tools like GT Power/DYNASTY/AMESIM for steady state and transient analysis.
• Proven capability in engine simulation and tools.
• Proven capability in diesel engine calibration and rating development process.
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink/Vector-Canape in diesel engine development.
• Experience in engine CFD (Converge/Ansys/Star CCM etc.) is added advantage.
• Ability to communicate technical/commercial information effectively with team members and others in work group, as well as employees in other units, customers, and suppliers.
• Flexible to travel globally which is of 10% of the work.

• Office Model: This position requires the employee to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
