JOB PURPOSE: As a mid to senior level UI tech the candidate should is responsible to deliver the new content functionalities for the application that is currently in production.

JOB RELATED STATISTICS: Ability to estimate the given feature and meet the deadline and report the status on every day stand up and raise RISK or technical challenges to the other Tech Leads & Architect and mitigate with out impacting the delivery timeline with defined quality.

JOB DUTIES: Work closely with the other tech leads and system architects with in the teams & program and following the scrum & program ceremonies to have deliverable focus to understand the given requirements during the SRS grooming for the current & upcoming PI in the form of features & user stories in Azure DevOps and estimate them and do work break down for the same in terms of tasks with the details and assign the same as per the defined high level design. Making sure team is following writing unit test cases to validate the implementation and raise a PR request to integrate the implementation to the final deliverable. Responsibilities include a strong quality focus through unit testing of the developed code, and significant interaction with integration points including: L4 & L8/E2E. Make sure getting in to the production issues on priority and take initiatives to prevent them in future and bring quality and maintainability improvements with in the team.

• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Design Scalable UI applications in AWS/Azure environment
• Provides technical leadership in UI technology standards.
• Provides guidance to project teams regarding UI guiding principles, system and application design, coding and design standards, best practices, and system performance and availability.
• Review the quality of designs and implementation of solutions implemented by the front end developers/leads
• Mentor junior team members

Skills And Qualifications

• 8-12 years of software development experience and at least 2 of leading teams
• In depth hands-on experience with modern web frameworks such as Angular 2+ /React/Polymer
• Frontend Expertise Demonstrate strong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript fundamentals, HTML, and CSS to deliver robust and scalable hybrid mobile & web applications.
• Ionic Framework Knowledge Possess a solid understanding of the Ionic framework for building cross-platform mobile applications with a single codebase.
• Hybrid Mobile Development Have foundational knowledge of hybrid mobile app development, including deployment and troubleshooting on both Android and iOS platforms.
• React Native (Added Advantage) Experience with React Native is a plus and will be considered an added advantage for cross-platform mobile development.
• Technical Leadership Lead and mentor a team of up to 6 engineers, providing technical guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Peer Code Reviews Conduct effective and constructive peer reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• System Design Be capable of performing both high-level architectural design and detailed low-level component/module design to meet business and technical requirements.
• Communication Skills Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• CI/CD & App Deployment Be actively involved in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and manage the deployment of applications to various app stores (Google Play, Apple App Store, Microsoft Store, etc.).
• Strong Understanding of HTML 5, CSS3, ES6 and Web components
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles and standard JavaScript Design patterns
• Deep understanding of MVC, MVM and MVVM application architectures
• Responsive Web Design and development
• Hands on experience of tools like Webpack, Gulp etc
• Good Understanding of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
• Protractor/ Jasmine/ Karma
• Hands on cloud based development in Azure or AWS
• In depth hands-on experience in NodeJS
• Strong understanding of web performance and tools for performance optimization
• Strong understanding of state management libraries like Redux, NRGX

This position requires working onsite five days a week. Relocation is available for this position.
