We are seeking a Senior Marketing Consultant to join our Cat Financial team in Switzerland. This role plays a critical part in aligning strategic initiatives with industry groups and developing sales variance programs that enable go-to-market strategies through innovative financial solutions.

Role Definition: The key responsibilities include overseeing and ensuring strategic alignment with industry groups, as well as creating and managing sales variance programs that enable go-to-market strategies through tailored financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow organizational policies and maintain clear communication to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate governance and communication with business partners at all levels regarding financing strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Design, negotiate, implement, and manage sales variance programs funded by industry partners.
  • Develop processes to provide visibility of critical Cat Financial indicators (pipeline and results) to internal leadership and business partners.
  • Communicate program parameters to internal sales leaders and industry marketing teams to enable effective market execution.
  • Analyze lost opportunity data to identify gaps and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Cat Financial on projects undertaken by industry partners.

  • Manage small projects—contribute to planning, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Communicate with impact—adapt messages for diverse audiences and represent Cat Financial effectively.

What You Have

  • 3–5 years of experience in equipment finance, industrial services, or dealer networks.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar products, aftermarket services, and exposure to ESG and customer experience initiatives in EAME.
  • A degree in business, economics, finance, or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products, merchandising programs, and business systems.
  • Strong PC skills and experience defining requirements for Power BI dashboards.
  • Recognized financial acumen and commercial knowledge.
  • Understanding of financial products and documentation principles.
  • A sense of urgency, adaptability, and ability to absorb information quickly.
  • Strong computational skills and ability to work with various IT applications.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written).
  • Excellent organizational skills, rigor, and attention to detail.
  • Proactivity and strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
