The Senior Manager Of Manufacturing Engineering For Caterpillar's Large Power Systems Division In Griffin, Ga Will Be Responsible For Leading Process Improvements That Deliver World Class Quality & Efficiency, Producing Engines, Gensets And Power Modules.
Technical/Engineering Degree Or Equivalent Experience Required.
Operational Functions: Extensive knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Organizational Leadership: Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives.
Quality Management: Extensive knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization. Influencing Through Expertise: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to use these to deepen own expertise and impact or challenge decisions within and outside own organization.
Continuous Transformation: Knowledge of evolving the business to remain competitive; ability to understand, adapt oneself to, respond to and proactively seek changes and innovation in the business environment to improve the competitive advantage of an organization.
Collaborating: Extensive knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Manufacturing Safety: Extensive knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment, and site.
Manufacturing Standards, Procedures And Policies: Extensive knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
Capacity Planning & Management - Mfg: Extensive knowledge of tools, approaches and practices for determining production demand and ability to manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service.
Project Management: Extensive knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Summary pay range: $156,000.00 - $234,000.00. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
