Assist in the structure and execution of the NEW LEC proactive maintenance strategy. You will utilize your deep understanding of maintenance functions and key metrics, interactions with different systems, cross functional collaboration within the maintenance organization, and operations in totality to solve complex technical challenges.

As the process owner responsible for having a spare parts plan for our critical assets you will need to maintain deep relationships with indirect purchasing and our supply base to ensure your success. You will be responsible for ensuring machinery uptime by ensuring the right spare parts inventory is maintained, accurate, and organized.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Control: Maintain optimal stock levels, conduct physical inventory counts, and minimize obsolescence through tracking. Ensure parts are stored in a way that prevents premature degradation
  • Procurement & Logistics: Purchase parts, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate shipments to ensure the right part is available at the right time.
  • Forecasting: Analyze usage data and internal/external failure trends to forecast demand for parts while also having a clear understanding of the facilities preventative maintenance plans to maintain ample supplies for scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Reports: Prepare reports on inventory status and other key metrics
  • Customer Support: Collaborate with maintenance, repair, and operations teams for parts requirements.

Skills you must have:

Problem Solving: Working knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Data Gathering & Analysis: Working knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

Performance Management: Working knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.

Analytical Thinking: Working knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Working knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Planning and Organizing: Working knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.

Effective Communications: Working understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Working understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

Education: Bachelors degree in an Engineering curriculum or equivalent experience in manufacturing operations

Top candidates will also have:

  • Demonstrated achievement in manufacturing engineering, facilities engineering, and/or maintenance roles with a strong understanding of core maintenance functions
  • Procurement, Supply chain experiences supporting a field or maintenance organization
  • Experience as a direct/indirect leader
  • CMRP credential

Summary Pay Range: $97,530.00 - $146,290.00
