We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer in our Large Power Systems Division team to support the production of large Caterpillar engines at our location in Kiel.

Your responsibilities at us include:

  • Conducting extended inspections and audits to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure compliance with company quality standards
  • Performing analyses of measuring systems as well as recording, evaluating, and communicating data on non-conformities
  • Analyzing non-conformity data and maintaining the quality system documentation
  • Collaborating in the team to develop and implement best practices that promote error prevention, reduction of deviations, and waste, and ensure continuous improvements to meet all customer requirements
  • Providing technical support for internal and external audits as well as tracking the implementation of corrective actions from audits

The qualifications and experience you should bring with you:

  • Professional experience with quality management processes and procedures
  • Experience with quality management methods, tools, and techniques as well as the ability to create and support an environment that meets the company's quality goals
  • Proficient understanding of organizational standards, procedures, and guidelines in manufacturing as well as the ability to plan, control, and monitor compliance with processes
  • Understanding of root cause analysis concepts, principles, and techniques as well as the ability to use a structured approach to identify causes of undesirable outcomes and implement measures to prevent recurrence
  • Ability to work constructively and cooperatively with different people and groups, and apply appropriate collaboration techniques
  • Very good German and good English skills
  • Completed engineering degree or comparable qualification is desirable
