Role Definition

Supports new products or changes to existing products.

What will you do:

- Source and deliver engine specifications and troubleshooting guidance to Technical Communicators within North and South America's dealer and distributor networks.

- Act as a strong advocate for both customers and dealers, ensuring their product issues are effectively resolved to maximize machine uptime.

- Identify and lead process improvements to increase team efficiency, quality, and velocity.

- Initiate action for product improvements within the service team and act as the conduit for information flow between the dealer and engineering.

Skills:

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Basic requirements:

- Bachelor's degree

- Pre Advanced English

- Demonstrated ability to apply logical troubleshooting processes to identify issues and support resolution

Top candidates will also have:

- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting diesel engine and aftertreatment related issues.

- Previous assignments in a customer or dealer facing role supporting the service of equipment.

Additional Information:

- Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.

- This is a fixed-term position.

Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
