Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to machine concept development, performance planning, and control requirements definition.
  • Develop and validate performance and control strategies to meet product targets.
  • Perform complex analysis to identify performance trends, market competitiveness, performance gaps, and control issues.
  • Formulate and implement performance improvement strategies and resolve technical problems.
  • Generate and manage machine performance specifications and ensure data accuracy to support related requirements.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and accurately across internal and external teams, including engineering, suppliers, and customers.
  • Make decisions that may impact project delivery, warranty, cost, customer perception, and technology adoption.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to less experienced engineers, technologists, and technicians.
  • Stay current with evolving customer needs and emerging technologies throughout the project lifecycle.

Skill Descriptors

Embedded Systems: Knowledge of embedded systems and their applications; ability to develop embedded systems with varying levels of complexity to control the operations of the machine it is embedded within.

Product Testing: Knowledge of product testing approaches, techniques and tools; ability to design, plan and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure product quality at all stages of manufacturing.

Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience. Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project. Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation. Product Development in Manufacturing: Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques of product development; ability to design, build and manage manufacturing of new products.

Other Requirements

Advanced English listening, reading, writing and speaking skills, CET-6 or above.

This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
