Role Definition: Designs, develops, builds, and implements new components, products, or technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of cab industry design, layout and operator interface systems for new machine platforms.
• Translate user needs, ergonomic principles, and brand identity into innovative and manufacturable design solutions.
• Develop and validate concepts using 3D tools, mock-ups, and simulation software.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of cab systems.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and design reviews to refine interface layouts and control placements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal design guidelines.
• Prepare and present design documentation, specifications, and technical reports.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality targets.
• Researching new materials and competitive products. Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes. Assisting supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance. Overseeing the efforts of drafting and testing specialists. Developing and documenting functional requirements and translating into detail design documents. Participating in and supporting proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports.

Degree Requirement: Degree required, requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.

• Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.

This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
