Job Summary
As a Manufacturing Process & Cnc Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to production and manufacturing processes, including Cnc machining, secondary processes, robotics, and assembly. Your mission will be to ensure safety, quality, speed, and optimal cost through solving complex problems, implementing continuous improvements, and standardizing processes. This role combines advanced technical knowledge with key soft skills such as critical thinking, effective communication, and adaptability to lead solutions that directly impact the efficiency and reliability of CAT Engines products.
What You Will Do
Critical Thinking + Cnc Expertise: Troubleshoot machining and Cnc programming processes (EIA/ISO, Mazatrol, Sinumerik, Fanuc), applying technical analysis to ensure accuracy and productivity.
Planning + Technical Documentation: Create and maintain documents defining standard tasks, manage procedures related to capital and assets, and ensure compliance with APQP/PPAP.
Communication + Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering changes, present technical solutions, and coordinate process training.
Adaptability + Continuous Improvement: Adjust processes to design changes, optimize workflows, and lead Lean initiatives to reduce costs and risks.
Safety Focus + Compliance: Design and evaluate processes considering safety risks, conduct OSHA inspections, and promote a safety culture within the plant.
Required Profile
Education: Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Language: Intermediate English (reading and technical communication).
Experience:
Minimum 3 years in manufacturing processes (Cnc machining, assembly, robotics).
Equipment installation and commissioning.
Creation of standard documentation and APQP/PPAP management.
