This role provides the technical and methodological expertise needed to design, develop, and implement the new comprehensive training strategy for ICD Mexico. It leads process standardization, training model design, learning infrastructure development, integration of new technologies, and the assurance of quality and safety across all training programs.
The key focus of the role is to lead the transformation project of the training system, which will enhance operational, technical, and learning capabilities within ICD Mexico, aligned with corporate objectives, global standards, and business needs.
Lead the creation of the ICD Mexico Training Model, including competencies, development paths, certifications, and evaluation criteria.
Map current and future processes of the area to ensure the strategy supports plant operations and growth.
Align training content, methodology, and structure with Caterpillar's global training standards.
Develop the project master plan, including phases, timelines, deliverables, costs, and resources.
Monitor key milestones using project management tools such as Gantt, PERT, and progress reports.
Define requirements for classrooms, labs, practical stations, simulators, or any necessary equipment.
Evaluate current learning processes to introduce improvements based on Lean Manufacturing principles.
Identify opportunities to apply digital tools, process automation (RPA), or learning platforms that optimize training.
Propose innovative solutions for hands-on training, simulations, assessments, and documentation.
Assess risks associated with training practices and equipment to ensure controlled and safe environments.
