As the engineering manager, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering activities related to the design and development of technologies, components, systems, products, or services for Wheeled Mining Products, with a particular focus on Load & Haul Products. This role mainly leads several L4 systems, including light structures, large structures, engine installation, and hydraulics integration. It involves working closely with functional teams across different factories and supplier locations to meet product quality, velocity, and cost objectives, while promoting a positive work environment and teamwork. This role involves interacting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds to make informed decisions and foster advanced talent development in support of critical programs and business needs.

Responsibilities include managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for engineering teams; providing specialized engineering technical support and consulting services to various areas of the organization; managing high-impact, short and long duration engineering initiatives and projects; maintaining product release plans and material plans; and driving programs to completion on time and within budget.

This position will require an accredited Mechanical engineering degree or a closely related technical degree with 13+ years of experience. An advanced degree is highly desired. Candidates having product development experience to lead NPIs & current production for mining industries would be highly desirable. Top candidates will also have wheeled mining products end to end product development for any systems that includes collaboration with Manufacturing, Test and/or Product Support & 6 Sigma Black Belt with strong product understanding at system & sub systems integration to the detail.
