Field Service Engineer
Our constantly growing team in Almaty, Kazakhstan is looking for a Field Service Engineer to support our customers located in the Eurasia & Turkey region. This position executes directs all activities and staff for technical field service programs for product (diesel – electric locomotive) commissioning & start up, troubleshooting & issue resolution, maintenance, repair, and overhauls.
What you will do:
- Performs commissioning and start up of the newly delivered products in the region.
- Advises the customers in troubleshooting and product problem resolution during the warranty and post warranty periods.
- Supports the customers in the region in maintenance, repair and overhauls of the products.
- Assists the customers in developing their service infrastructure; establishes and maintains the training readiness of their organization.
- Promotes the culture and values of the organization. Facilitates smooth workflow; ensures high standards and quality of technical work.
- Drives the development of work plans, schedules and evaluation criteria for field service activities, projects with the customers.

Additional requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering as preferred.
- 5+ years direct field experience working with/for Dealers and/or Customers.
Top candidates will also have:
- Prior experience in the railroad business segment
- Broad knowledge about diesel engines and power generators
Travel requirement: This role requires extensive business travels within the Eurasia & Turkey region. Working in customer locations on a rotational basis may also be required.
