Caterpillar's Electrification & Energy Solutions (E&ES) Division will focus on delivering advanced electrified power train, zero-emissions products/technologies, and the solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services, and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries. • Provide leadership on design for manufacturing 750V motors and generators
• Leading development builds through the assembly facility and guiding the evolution of the technical design through technical project planning, detail design, and development testing.
• Monitoring, exploring, and testing new technologies, materials, and components to understand product or process improvement opportunities.
• Advocating velocity in activity while maintaining a safety first mindset.
• Participating in supplier selection and capabilities assessment.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the design for manufacturing process and methodologies in evaluating.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Product Development: Knowledge of the methodology and associated phases, activities and deliverables of product development life cycle for component assemblies; ability to bring new or enhanced products to the marketplace.
Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or product development environment.
This role will be located in Noblesville, IN.

Summary Pay Range: $126,000.00 - $189,000.00
