As Kubernetes becomes a core component of modern infrastructure, it also expands the potential attack surface. Kubernetes is a complex component with many moving parts, making it hard to understand and hard to secure - a single cluster can have thousands of unpatched vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, but a serious breach can be triggered by a single one.
KSPM team is building a Kubernetes Security Posture Management (KSPM) product that helps our customers secure their Kubernetes clusters by surfacing the threats with the biggest potential impact and then guides them in mitigating these threats. The team is responsible for this product end-to-end - the agent that scans customer's container images and Kubernetes configuration, the backend that processes data received from the agent and the APIs that serve the final security reports.
The main challenge in building this product is the data processing. To produce the final reports for our customers, the product needs to process large amounts of quickly changing data from customer's environments, vulnerability advisories, and many other data sources, all while keeping the reporting performant, ensuring many different slices of the same data are correct and consistent with one another.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our KSPM Team. In this role, you will architect, design and implement our Kubernetes security product, propose new ideas and improvements, and implement new software solutions that will advance Kubernetes security for our customers.
