Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Used Equipment Sales Specialist in Richmond, VA. The Used Equipment Sales Specialist is responsible for buying and selling equipment and attachments following CMCo guidelines to achieve profitability goals and objectives. The Used Equipment Sales Specialist will provide assistance in the administration of sales, trade-ins and purchases of used equipment by the Retail Sales Team. Seeking candidates with previous experience working in sales support, procurement or project management; heavy equipment knowledge, preferred; college degree in related field, preferred.
Requirements for the Used Equipment Sales Specialist position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the Used Equipment Sales Specialist job, including the ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Able to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 20 pounds in weight. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
