Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer for Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C., is hiring a Site Innovation Engineer. The Site Innovation Engineer is the lead project consultant as it relates to Site Based Operations. The individual in this role conducts in-depth evaluations of customer productivity projects to develop KPI's and trackable metrics based on the customer's objectives. The Site Innovation Engineer will be responsible for developing and monitoring deployed production solutions like MineStar, CAT Productivity, VantagePoint, and similar applications; will be the lead project owners for CAT Command Remote Control and Command Autonomous operations technology; be able to leverage CPS (CAT Payload Systems) to develop KPI's and educate customers on opportunities to improve operations. Seeking candidates with previous experience evaluating digital construction technology projects; Previous experience with Quarry/Aggregate, Waste and or Civil Construction applications, preferred; Mining Engineering degree preferred.
