Senior Quality Engineer - Remote Eligible

Technical Test Analyst

At Carrier, we are building the future of sustainable building technology. Join our IoT backend team to build and test high-scale microservices in Microsoft Azure. We're looking for a Technical Test Analyst with a developer's mindset to ensure the reliability of our next-gen heating solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Automate: Develop and maintain test suites in C#/.NET or Node.js (optional)
• Validate: Test RESTful APIs and asynchronous flows (RabbitMQ, Redis)
• Troubleshoot: Deep-dive into MSSQL and NoSQL (MongoDB) to verify data integrity
• Integrate: Orchestrate testing within Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or Jenkins (optional))
• Collaborate: Manage documentation and report progress to stakeholders via Jira/Confluence

Requirements:

• Core: Strong programming in C# or Node.js/JavaScript (optional) with backend testing experience
• Architecture: Hands-on with Microservices, REST, and Cloud (Azure)
• Infrastructure: Proficiency with Docker, RabbitMQ, and Redis
• Databases: Experience with both MSSQL and NoSQL (MongoDB)
• CI/CD: Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps or Jenkins pipelines
• Process: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred qualifications:

• ISTQB Advanced (Technical Test Analyst) certification
• Experience with IoT-specific protocols (MQTT)
• Knowledge of frameworks like xUnit/NUnit (C#) or Mocha/Jest (Node.js)
