Refrigeration And Air Conditioning Technician

Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Performing control tests of refrigeration systems and equipment to identify possible faults.
• Replacement of compressors, evaporators, fans, and other components in refrigeration equipment types Rooftop and Chillers.
• Installation and commissioning of new air conditioning equipment.
• Handling refrigerants and refrigeration accessories.
• Timely delivery of field reports (worksheets, protocols...) with complete and quality data.
• Identification and ordering of necessary spare parts.
• Ensuring that a risk assessment is performed and documented before carrying out any work.

Objective of the job:

• Familiarization with the use of digital devices (email, applications…)
• Availability for shift duty
• Availability for travel, and overnight stays as needed
• Great learning capacity
• Dedication and customer orientation

Minimum requirements:

• Between 2 and 3 years of experience as a refrigeration mechanic in companies that maintain and repair air conditioning and climate control.
• Experience with chiller plants (Alternatives, Scroll and Screw) and Rooftop equipment, as well as climate control controls.
• Knowledge of electricity, mechanics, and hydraulics.
• Knowledge of Mod-Bus and Back-net.
• Medium or Higher Degree in Refrigeration Installations.
• Carnet RITE (Thermal Installations) and/or RSIF.
• Carnet of Fluorinated Gases Manipulator (any load).
• Title of Occupational Risk Prevention (60 h.). Valuable 6h PRL trade title.
• Driving license B with all points.
• Valid work permit for the EU.
