Purpose Of The Position

We are looking for an experienced refrigeration technician dedicated to performing field service activities on refrigeration groups, for HVAC and production systems (civil and industrial installations).

The candidate will be entrusted with the interventions of initial start-up, as well as ordinary and extraordinary maintenance on air and water refrigeration groups, with scroll, screw, centrifugal and absorber compressors.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance accurately, according to defined maintenance protocols, in order to ensure the optimal functionality and durability of the maintained chillers;
• Diagnose any technical problems and implement the most appropriate solutions to restore the correct functionality of the units in a timely manner;
• Identify potential technical improvement and modernization activities of refrigeration groups and/or other components of the HVAC systems serving the buildings;
• Support and proactively collaborate with the sales network in determining the most suitable technical solutions for the final customer's needs;
• Prepare clear and precise intervention reports that convey to the customer a correct understanding of the activities carried out and/or suggested.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

• High school diploma (electronics or electrical technician or similar);
• Excellent knowledge (at least 5 years of experience) of refrigeration groups (scroll, screw, centrifugal and absorber compressors) of one or more of the main HVAC brands;
• Good and proven practical skills in welding and electrical installation;
• Ability to work both independently and in a team;
• Strong aptitude for managing customer needs;
• Possess an F-Gas certificate;
• Residency preferably in the Bologna/Verona area;
• Driver's license (type B);
• Available for travel within the national territory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of French and/or English;
• Knowledge of automation, control and monitoring systems.
