At CarOnSale, as a Business Development Manager, you will be at the heart of the action: developing new sales channels, managing strategic projects, and building partnerships with major customers that significantly shape our growth and success.

Your Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Project Responsibility: You take full control of strategic sales projects – from initial market analysis and acquisition initiation to successful implementation with new customers. You work closely with our executive management (CEO, CCO, Sales Leadership).
  • Account Management & Partnerships: You support and develop our key accounts (OEMs & large fleets) to ensure sustainable national and international scaling.
  • Business Development & Acquisition: Identification, proactive approach, and acquisition of new customers and their systematic development into long-term partners.
  • Sales Performance: You design targeted sales initiatives to increase revenue and optimize our internal sales processes to continuously improve efficiency and impact in the team.
  • GTM & Business Intelligence: Generation of actionable business insights from operational market feedback to sharpen and steer our go-to-market strategy.
  • Stakeholder Management: Sovereign communication and coordination at the interfaces with internal and external stakeholders (customers, partners, investors).

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in business development, sales, or a comparable role – ideally in a technology-driven, dynamic environment.
  • Proven initial successes in acquisition and development of new customers, including responsibility for performance and growth results.
  • Independent project management, analytical thinking, and hands-on mentality: strategically strong conception, but also operational drive.
  • Very good German (C2) and English (at least C1) skills in communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • High resilience, proactivity, and strong results orientation in a demanding, fast-growing team.
