Operations Support Coordinator
Caring Transitions is seeking a trustworthy, dependable Operations Support Coordinator to support estate liquidation projects, final property close-out, in-home project work, and senior moves.
This is a hands-on field role for someone with strong integrity, good judgment, and the ability to work independently. The right person will help ensure homes are fully cleaned out, properly handled, and ready to be turned over in clean, empty condition to the client or Realtor.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing final project close-out at residential properties
- Opening homes for furniture buyer pickups and overseeing the process
- Being available to manage Salvation Army donation pickups
- Vacuuming and sweeping homes at the end of projects
- Checking closets, drawers, cabinets, and other areas for overlooked items
- Helping identify what is trash, what should be donated, and what may still be saleable
- Supervising day laborers when extra cleanup or garage/exterior labor is needed
- Learning in-home auction support, including picture taking and use of the company app
- Assisting with senior moves and helping manage move projects when ownership is unavailable
- Dropping off auction shipping items to the shipper
- Transporting firearms sold at auction to the designated FFL shipper in accordance with company procedures
- Coordinating with the Operations Manager on daily tasks, priorities, and scheduling needs
- Helping maintain an operations calendar
Requirements:
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness
- Strong organizational skills and dependability
- Ability to work independently and supervise others when needed
- Comfortable learning auction and move-related workflows
- Familiarity with firearms and safe handling practices
- Professional communication and sound judgment in the field
- Must pass a background check before hiring
- Must have own truck
- Must be able to pull a trailer from time to time
Schedule: This position is expected to be 30–40 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours depending on project demand.
Pay:
- $16.50 per hour starting pay
- $17.50 per hour after successful completion of a 90-day probationary period
- $0.70 per mile for approved work-related travel beyond normal commuting
Probationary Period: This position includes a 90-day probationary period to evaluate reliability, integrity, job performance, and overall fit.
