Support Engineer

As a Support Engineer at Blue Yonder, you will provide superior technical support to our customers, ensuring seamless integration and functioning of our supply chain solutions. This role involves resolving complex technical issues, providing timely updates, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has strong communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer support queries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Document known limitations or warnings, and maintain up-to-date process documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements based on customer feedback.
- Provide training and guidance to customers on product features and best practices.
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues and recommend permanent solutions.
- Ensure customer inquiries are appropriately routed and escalated as needed.
Technical Environment:
- Experience with supply chain management software and tools.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Use of project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
- Utilize version control systems like Git.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in technical support or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices is a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation.
