Job Title: Software Engineer

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a highly creative and meticulous Senior Software Engineer, who will be responsible for all design requirements for our leader communications.

The incumbent will report to Team Lead – Communications and must understand the design process, liaising with multiple stakeholders to understand the brief and deliver all in-house design requirements, apart from coordinating with external agencies to ensure brand guidelines are followed.

Job Responsibility:

• Contribute to the architecture, design, development, deployment, monitoring & Maintenance of application
• Work with Software engineers, developers, & test engineers to deliver high-quality, object-oriented front and backend code.
• Contribute & help leads to the development of agile software engineering process.
• Assist other members of the team in the integration process from front end and backend.
• Provide work estimation and participate in design implementation and code reviews.
• Having analytical & Problem-solving skill to solve complex technical issues
• Hands on experience in ASP.net, Web Api, MVC & Entity framework.
• Solid understanding of software design principles and writing unit test cases.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipeline like Jenkins.
• Good communication skill to interact with Onshore and offshore team.

Qualification:

• B. Tech /B.E. /MCA

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in professional development.
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experienced on Agile framework & Jira tool.
• Hands on experience in ASP.net, Web Api, MVC & Entity framework.
• Expert level experience with business and technical applications.
• Experience in healthcare information technology is a plus.
• Experience using Azure DevOps Services including Boards, Pipelines and Repos.
• Experience in the healthcare industry strongly preferred.
• Experience in publishing and maintaining code/services in a cloud hosted environment like Azure.
• Experience coding software according to published standards and design guidelines.
• Expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Minimum 4 years' experience using C# and .NET Core.

Skills and Competencies:

• Fluent with functional, imperative and object-­oriented languages
• Knowledge in health care industry will be an additional Add on.
• SQL database and/or multi language strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of software design principles and writing unit test cases.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipeline like Jenkins.
• Minimum of 3 years' developing web applications using Angular
• Working knowledge of database architecture and design ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents is required.
• Exposure to MS SQL and can write stored procedures.
• Good Communication skills.
