Technical Sales Engineer

Cardinal Staffing is hiring a Technical Sales Engineer for an engineering and manufacturing solutions provider in Perrysburg, OH. This is a direct hire opportunity for a driven sales professional experienced in capital equipment, automation, or engineering services. Salary + Commission | Full-Time | Benefits Included Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and secure new customers through outreach, networking, and referrals
2. Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business
3. Lead the full sales cycle—from discovery to proposal, negotiation, and close
4. Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with customer needs
5. Track sales activity and maintain accurate CRM records (Zoho)
6. Provide market feedback to support strategy and process improvements

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of technical sales experience (automation, robotics, engineering services, etc.)
2. Proven ability to close large projects ($100K+), ideally with long sales cycles
3. Strong technical aptitude and communication skills
4. CRM experience (Zoho preferred)
5. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
6. Willingness to travel up to 60% within NW Ohio and the Midwest
