Capital One is looking for an Associate to join our HR Team and effectively manage candidates through the selection and hiring processes, provide consulting and guidance to our Talent Acquisition teams, and participate in HR projects that enhance the onboarding experience. The ideal candidate will have strong planning, organization, and communication skills, laser customer focus, and meticulous attention to detail.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Recruiting team and the Background Check vendor, ensuring seamless coordination and proactive follow-through on candidate cases.
  • Manage the end-to-end pre-joining, hiring, and onboarding process to ensure a smooth and compliant candidate experience.
  • Partner cross-functionally with all teams involved in the new-joiner onboarding experience—including Recruiting, Learning & Development, Benefits, and others—to deliver a cohesive, high-impact transition for incoming associates.
  • Serve as a beacon of the Capital One Values in all interactions with candidates and new Capital One associates.
  • Support HR leaders in identifying and deploying process enhancements that elevate the associate experience and strengthen operational effectiveness.
  • Accountable for maintaining accurate and up-to-date departmental data systems, including candidate-tracking dashboards, databases, and ad hoc reporting to enable timely, data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with internal clients and HR Business Partners to deliver top-notch associate experiences.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent degree
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Intermediate-Advanced English fluency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in Salesforce, Workday or similar and Google Suite
  • 1+ years of experience as an Jr Generalist or Jr Administrative in a fast-paced environment
  • 1+ years managing end-to-end new joiners onboarding
