Canadian Helicopters is a helicopter transportation service, maintenance support and flight training company. In business since 1947, Canadian Helicopters is Canada's largest helicopter operator with over 20 locations across the country and a fleet of nearly 100 single and multi-engine aircrafts.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this position requires individuals who are organized and self-starters. Duties include those of performing aircraft maintenance, organizing and housekeeping of the hangar facility. The position does involve shift work including days, evenings and weekends as well as an on-call rotation.
Canadian Helicopters is currently seeking Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintainers (AME's and Apprentices) for fixed base work in Southport Manitoba. Potential to migrate to the FAcT contract; Potential to work on brand new, state of the art, Airbus H135 aircraft in the future.
Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license.
Have successfully completed a basic maintenance course from a Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) acceptable training organization or within DND.
Must hold a valid driver’s license.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security level of Enhanced Reliability.
Experience on Bell 412 and 206 is an asset.
Consideration will be given to applicants with a Canadian Military aircraft maintenance qualification.
