We are currently in search of Sales Coordinators to help support the administrative and clerical needs of our sales team. Qualified candidate will be able to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support our Territory Manager and team, assisting with daily needs and activities aligned with our overall business objectives. They will support our mission to encourage reading and promote lifelong learning and demonstrate our values of caring and respect for all people. The ideal candidate will reside in the Pacific Coast Time Zone.

Core Responsibilities include providing administrative assistance, managing data and reports, coordinating communication between departments, and assisting with territory activities. This role also involves organizing marketing inventory, handling office needs, and ensuring smooth operations. With a focus on teamwork, communication, and adaptability, the Sales Coordinator contributes to creating a positive working environment and driving success within the territory.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain meticulous records of sales data and customer interactions.
  • Generate reports and assist in tracking territory activities.
  • Offer comprehensive administrative support to the Sales Team.
  • Manage marketing materials to ensure effective promotional activities.
  • Act as a liaison between the Sales Team and other departments.
  • Attend and document all territory meetings.
  • Interact with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to motivating and building a positive working environment.
  • Stay abreast of current sales processes and expectations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Sales Acumen: Understanding of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation and telephone skills.
  • Time Management and Organization: Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Additional Skills: Proficiency with MS Office software, SalesForce/CRM technology and telecommuting software.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in sales or administrative roles.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. BA/BS degree preferred.
