As a CBRE Union Chief Operating Engineer, you will oversee the efficient operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for an assigned location. This role involves providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Assigning and monitoring maintenance activities and projects.
• Conducting preventive maintenance duties.
• Recommending improvements to the preventive maintenance program.
• Developing and maintaining effective maintenance procedures.
• Maintaining stock and inventory control.
• Using extensive knowledge to create solutions.
• Leading by example and modeling CBRE values.
• Negotiating with senior management and others to influence strategic decisions.
• Driving direction and resource allocation for programs and projects.
• Impacting the design of policies and procedures.

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 8-10 years of job-related experience.
• Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role.
• Multi-dimensional, conceptual, and innovative thinking.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Expert organizational and math skills.

The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the Union Chief Operating Engineer position is $68.83 hourly. Please refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement regarding pay scale.
