Operational Support Manager
Robert Half is seeking an Operational Support Manager to join our Operational Support team to support a team of in person and remote talent solutions professionals that focus on placing candidates at client companies on a temporary or permanent basis. What you will do:
- Provide support to talent solutions professionals
- Be a resource for client and candidate inquiries, technology initiatives, and various reporting and revenue generating support activities
- Manage, lead, train and the development of operational support team members within multiple branches
- Assist in finding job opportunities for people
- Ensure adherence to company compliance guidelines in all aspects of local operations through the hiring experience from start to finish
You will contribute by:
- Providing primary support to talent solutions leadership team
- Providing direct supervision to the operational support teams in multiple offices
- Participating in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of internal operational support team members
- Onboarding, supporting, and training new operational support hires
- Ensuring the completion of all new hire, tenured, roll out, and initiative training programs and materials
- Writing and delivering performance reviews
- Providing feedback, coaching and guidance to enhance skill development and engagement of team
- Conveying clear expectations, delegating assignments and monitoring progress of team
- Supporting the adoption and usage of process and technology initiative and best practices
- Partnering with District office or Learning and Development to create and deliver development programs
- Planning or supporting recruiting and/or candidate appreciation and community service events
- Planning and facilitating aspects of branch and regional talent solution meetings
- Cascading information on new and current initiatives to the operational support team
- Reviewing and submitting invoices, following budgetary guidelines
- Managing inventory of all office supplies, office equipment and postage
- Acting as point of contact for property management, real estate, and vendors
- Assisting in facilitation of contract management, working as liaison between contract department, branch staff and regional management
- Liaising with District team for projects and reporting

- High School Diploma or equivalent required with 4+ years college preferred
- 5+ years' experience working in an administrative position with heavy customer contact
- Previous supervisory experience
- Proven ability to drive execution of operational tasks, projects, and enhancements
- Experience with hiring and training
- Experience in a business development environment preferred
- Ability to take initiative, be self-directed and work with limited supervision
- Ability to work with and troubleshoot technical issues both in-person and remotely
- Working knowledge of database entry and reporting
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and proficiency in Excel/Word/One Note required
- Salesforce experience preferred
Location: This role currently supports office(s) in the Southwest United States. Your manager will coordinate with you to determine a work schedule that involves working a combination of in-office and remote work based upon business needs.

The typical salary range for this position is $58,500 to $79,000. The salary is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
