Salary: $585 / Week Position: School Aide Location: Santa Maria, CA Pay: $18/hour (weekly direct deposit) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 30–32.5 hours/week (Full-time and part-time available) Start Date: August 25, 2025 Contract Length: Full 2025–2026 school year

Job Overview Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring School Aides to support students in general and special education classrooms across Santa Maria. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, child development, and making a meaningful impact in students' lives.

Responsibilities + Assist teachers with classroom instruction and supervision + Support students with academic and behavioral needs + Help implement IEP accommodations and behavior plans + Escort students and assist with mobility or therapeutic care needs + Maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment

Requirements + High school diploma or GED + Two years of relevant experience preferred + CPR certification and TB clearance (if applicable) + Must be at least 18 years old + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
