The GBSG Marketing Services team is seeking a strategic, high-impact Staff Marketing Manager to define our Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Strategy for the Global Business Solutions Group (QuickBooks, Mailchimp and Intuit Enterprise). This is a senior individual contributor role designed for a commercial vision and can work in tandem with multiple teams while being able to tie it all together. As the architect of our GEO roadmap, your focus will shift away from traditional on-site technical SEO toward off-site influence, strategic partnerships, and brand authority within LLM environments (like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini). You will be accountable for the overarching strategy that ensures our brands are the most cited, trusted, and recommended financial and marketing platforms across the generative AI ecosystem. You will act as a commercial diplomat, building bridges with external partners and internal product and marketing teams to ensure our data and value propositions are seamlessly integrated into the engines driving the next generation of user intent.
How You Will Lead
6+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a heavy emphasis on Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, and High-Level SEO Strategy. Proven track record of managing large-scale marketing programs where the primary goal is revenue growth and market share rather than just "traffic." Understanding of how LLMs find, process, and cite information. You should have a clear thesis on the transition from Google-centric SEO to Engine-Agnostic GEO. Experience managing high-value external relationships or vendors to drive brand visibility and authority. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional product teams in a fast-paced environment. Ability to leverage tools like Adobe Analytics, BigQuery, or specialized AI-tracking platforms (Profound, Scrunch or other LLM measurement platforms) to derive insights from non-traditional search data. A deep understanding of the B2B or SaaS buyer journey is a significant advantage. BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
