Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide quality services to students in an Extensive Support Needs (ESN) classroom. This role involves planning and implementing individualized programs, delivering specialized instruction, and collaborating with general education staff to support student success.
Location: Santa Barbara, CA
Grade Level: Elementary (small class)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Approx. 39 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Hours TBD
Work Hours: 37.5 hrs/week
Setting: Extensive Support classroom
Pay Rate: $75/hr Local
Provide specialized instruction and tutorial assistance to students with extensive support needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with general education staff and participate in team planning
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred)
Valid California teaching certificate with ESN or Mild/Moderate Support certification
Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)
Current CPR (if applicable)
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
Current health certificate (per state/contract regulations)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Minimum age: 18
