Required Skills:

• Develop, design, create, modify, or test software applications or systems for various products or software services.
• Develop a strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, or systems.
• Produce high-quality code with good test coverage using modern abstractions and frameworks.
• May be assigned to specific group focused on product or infrastructure.
• Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Follow internal development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or Networking or a related field.
• Completion of a graduate-level course, research project, or internship involving the following:
• Object-oriented programming
• Java and JavaScript
• Scalable software systems
• Data structures and algorithms
• Conducting code design and code reviews
• Data storage systems
• NoSQL databases
• Filesystems including HDFS, HBASE, and Swift
• Data centers, software stack, virtualization, software defined networks and storage
• MapReduce
• Spark
• GraphLab
• Application, transport, network and link layers of the protocol stack, and network management
• Machine-level code, compilers, performance evaluation and optimization
• Computer arithmetic, memory organization and management, networking technology and protocols

Public Compensation: $185,644/year to $200,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits
