Under the general supervision of the Senior Superintendent, performs a full range of journeyman-level function of a Service Engineer. Operate, maintain, repair, and inspect heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, pneumatic tube and domestic water heater equipment; test, adjust, and calibrate air conditioning system mechanical, electrical, and electronic controls; maintain, inspect, analyze and make emergency repairs to heating and cooling water piping distribution systems; regularly use features of building automation systems to diagnose and troubleshoot problems in HVAC systems while optimizing energy usage; monitor building automation systems data and make adjustments as appropriate; perform monthly generator runs and operate automatic transfer switches; perform basic level operation of fire alarm panel; perform service calls with a high level of customer satisfaction focus; maintain logs of maintenance and repairs using manual and computerized record-keeping systems; and instruct and lead semi-skilled or unskilled assistants. Additionally, an incumbent may be assigned to alternate work schedules, including weekends.
Hourly Wage: $62.01
