AECOM is seeking a Sr. Transportation Highway/Roadway Engineer to be based in Los Angeles, CA. Job responsibilities include serving as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects, providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise, approving and signing off on work, providing technical expertise for studies and design efforts, presenting complex technical solutions to clients, performing quality control reviews of work developed by others, participating in development of technical proposals, and providing estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.
Minimum qualifications include a BA/BS and 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred qualifications include a professional engineer license and ability to obtain California PE within twelve months if not currently registered in California, expertise in developing design packages for highway and/or roadway improvement projects in Southern California, experience preparing technical specifications in Greenbook and/or Caltrans format, minimum of ten years of technical experience which reflect a progressively increasing level of leadership and responsibility, proficient in the use of and ability to lead others in the use of Microstation, InRoads, AutoCad and Civil 3D, desire to develop marketing skills, and excellent written and oral communications skills.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $140,566.00 - $234,034.00.
