Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code in .NET, Azure, Kubernetes
  • Assist in designing systems integrating ML/generative AI with real-time adjudication, autonomous coding, and chart intelligence
  • Scale AI/ML solutions for real-time and large-scale workloads
  • Align technical execution with business goals
  • Translate complex requirements into technical designs
  • Collaborate with global and offshore teams for seamless delivery
  • Create architecture artifacts: diagrams, design docs, and specifications
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks
  • Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation
  • Stay current on ML, generative AI, and cloud trends to drive innovation

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise-grade software development
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure/AWS, AKS, REDIS, Docker
  • 5+ years of experience integrating AI into SaaS and microservice architectures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with generative AI frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain)
  • Experience designing, deploying, and optimizing AI/ML models
  • Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time data streaming (e.g., Kafka)
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Proven knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Demonstrated background in natural language processing (NLP) and LLM integration
  • Demonstrated familiarity with FHIR standards and healthcare data interoperability

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
