Design and build features, and/or distribute platforms at scale. Drive impactful initiatives for the globally distributed infrastructure collaborate with product managers, architects, other engineering teams, and business groups, to drive end-to-end solutions. Understand the entire software lifecycle and participate in all aspects of it. Work on medium size projects independently, and deliver them to completion, or participate in large size projects as contributors for one or more project areas. Effectively work with other engineers across disciplines and provide oversight/mentorship for other engineers. Detect underlying problems and patterns to solve difficult or persistent problems. Advocates for quality, reliability and security for their area and is able to mentor more junior engineers on good engineering practices. Telecommuting permitted.
