Our client, a leading provider in the industrial supplies sector, is seeking a Sales Counter Representative to join their team. As a Sales Counter Representative, you will be part of the sales support team supporting customer service and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and industry knowledge, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Assist walk-in customers by providing expert advice on welding and industrial products
• Process sales transactions accurately, including taking orders and handling payments
• Recommend and upsell products based on customer needs and industry standards
• Provide technical support and detailed product knowledge regarding welding supplies, safety equipment, and machinery
• Maintain and organize inventory levels, ensuring popular items are well-stocked and displayed properly

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree preferred
• Experience in industrial sales, customer service, or counter sales, especially within the welding industry
• Strong knowledge of welding supplies, equipment, and materials
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs.
