General Position Summary: All Sales Associates are responsible for greeting and assisting customers in their assigned area of the store for the day. Individual duties and responsibilities of each section are outlined in separate positional guides. The Sales Associate reports to the Assistant Store Manager. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities include the following as well as other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned:

• Greet customers as they enter the shop or your assigned section
• Assist customers with their needs, and offer a shopping basket if a customer is collecting merchandise
• Operate a computerized scanning device for the completion of cash and credit card sales transactions with accuracy
• Ability to act as a team player and work within a fast-paced environment
• Continual security and safety awareness
• Communicate with floor Supervisor, work with Buyers, Assistant Manager and Manager to remain aware of product information, product location and back stock
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Extensive knowledge of register procedures, store policies, and merchandise
• Process incoming phone orders
• Assist with gift and bubble wrapping merchandise
• Restock, clean and maintain integrity of displays in assigned area of the day
